Selection Process
The selection process may include the following stages:
- Merit List: Selection will be based on merit list prepared taking the average of percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examination.
- Document Verification: Original documents will be verified for shortlisted candidates.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates may have to undergo a medical examination.

About South East Central Railway (SECR)
South East Central Railway (SECR) is one of the 18 railway zones in India, headquartered at Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. It was created on April 1, 2003, and comprises the Nagpur Division from the Central Railway, and the Bilaspur and Raipur divisions from the South Eastern Railway.
SECR serves the states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, and parts of Uttar Pradesh. It is an important railway zone for freight operations, particularly for coal transportation from the mines in Chhattisgarh and Odisha to various parts of the country.
